I see this and have no immediate excitement.

Is it just me?

Not trying to be down on it, just have a feeling of indifference.

I like this and I heard it was between WI and Iowa so even better we landed him

Iowa? Zach Glazier still has a year left at Iowa. That could have effected his decision to come to Wisconsin.

Good explosive wrestler with great results and offense where he has competed. Conditioning maybe was a concern but I will say I haven't seen an out of shape Badger under Bono and staff.

Good one-year get for the Badgers. I feel the up side is better than Liegal last year. Maybe blood round type!

I believe in the past 2 National Champ years this athlete has lost only 1 match and that was to our very own fargo champ and la crosse college wrestler Ben Ka..!

According to WS he will be a junior this year so if that is correct he will have 2 years.

Ya I don't know this day and age what sthletes are in eligibility. When I saw Sr I went with it. Graduated high school 2020, competed in 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 so I figured 1 year but this day and age who knows the eligibility  ;D

Good get for the Badgers I believe. Lots of offenseand I hope it transfers over and he will be fun tonwatch

So does this mean Braxton Amos is not coming back or is he moving to hwt? What about Dylan Russo? I thought they were high on him ability.

Both are injured and might be heavyweights. Amos could redshirt; I think Russo might be able to redshirt since he was injured last year and take an injury redshirt. Certainly increases the competition. Also wonder if Endene at 184 is an option. Pure speculation.

Endene is a good get. Watching him at Nationals, there was a very clear difference between him and the rest of the field. He's D1 NQ level or better. As I understand it, he didn't have an offensive point scored on him all year.

Ledger

One of the big differences between D1 and D3 are the weight cuts.  I could see Endene at 184.

I think there is probably a lot of scholarship money tied up in 97 and heavyweight with Amos, Christensen, Russo and Endene.  Interestingly, all four guys were brought in to be 197 pounders.  What's odd is the guy I think has the best upside at these two weights is on a football scholarship and likely doesn't use any scholarship money.

All sources have Russo at either 197 or even HWT (Wrestlestat).  He wrestled 215 and 220 in high school.

I love wrestle stat but take that with a big grain of salt.

Russo was a very thick 215/220 pounder but a good diet I can see him dropping down. Yes 184 maybe a stretch but with Bono condition program and eating programs it wouldn't surprise me that Russo gets to 184.

The wartburg kid from my understanding would not be able to fat test for 184. I halyard a story for him to be 196 they worked it in his favor.

You really think he wrestles at a weight class 30 pounds lighter than he did in high school?  The Badgers website has him at 197, not 184.
