I think it was 7-4 Reinhart over Wadell last year. And Wadell had him on his back. He's a beast this year. Only lost to one guy this year!

Was this at sectionals?  I couldn't make it last year.

Team Sectionals in Merrill!

I didn't know that.  That is impressive!

It was a very good match with Wadell behind by one with a little time left and I believe he tried a head throw and missed for him that turned into a takedown for Mason!

Dozer: Please tell me you are related to the Koontz boys. I will concede that they are great young wrestlers. I will not diminish their skills. I just think that Szohr at 106 is the guy to beat and does not exhibit a history of failing to rise to the occassion.

BTW: Is Breske going 182? He was at 170 for Cheesehead

Appears to.be  a WVC fan, but not a Rapids fan, could only bear to pick 1 Rapids champ, listing a "?" right where Spray might be a choice...

Honestly I'm not sure about Breske.  I've heard both 182 and 170.. I was just taking a stab at it.

As far as the Koontz boy's go, I am not related, but I did witness Brady put the boots to Szohr this season in a very tight match that was decided by the ref in one of the weirdest calls I've seen.  Brady just simply out worked him.  Both great wrestlers and I am looking forward to seeing a re-match if it happens.  YES I am a tad bias

Can spray beat zack smith from port? I don't think so

wrestling135

120 is going to be a neck and neck race. I wouldnt be surprised if zach smith won. And I won't be surprised if he doesn't  even place. My personal opinion is he hasn't wrestled this year like he has been the past 3. Good kid, tough wrestler just isn't looking as solid as I expected.

Can't say for sure, but I wouldn't automatically count Spray out.  He is one heck of a wrestler and very difficult to get your hands on.

Like I said, Shea is wrestling better than I have ever seen him wrestle, he had a point to make and I believes he's on a mission to prove it....

120 is going to be a great wt class, definately wouldnt count Smith or Spray out but after watching Nolan Shea on sat or Jaden Vanmaaen earlier in yr,hard to pick against either of them.I think i might have to give the edge to Shea.

Breske wrestled at 170 for conference & looked comfortable, so I would imagine he will be at 170.  There seems to be a bias towards the Northern kids with these picks.  I will take Bird at 132, Shea at 120.  Somewhat familiar with the Koontz brothers at the youth level.  Often came down a bit & had a size advantage that they won't have against Furseth, Ratkovek & Lee at 113 or Shulist or Peak at 106.
