With Stratford wrestling in the Team State event the Stratford Youth Wrestling tournament 3/5/16 as well as the Old Timers tournament on 3/4/16 will go on as planned. We have volunteers form our community as well as overwhelming support from surrounding towns and conference schools. Thanks for the consideration and hope to see you there. 32nd ANNUAL STRATFORD YOUTH WRESTLING TOURNAMENT

Pre-Registration only at Bracket Wrestling.com
No Walk-ins or Mail-ins (no exceptions)
Deadline – Friday, March 4, 2016 at Noon
No weigh-ins – honor system
We reserve the right to spot check anyone's weight
If your weight is not within reason, you will be disqualified from the tournament
Date: Saturday, March 5, 2016
Note: 10 miles from Edgar which has a tournament the next day
Place: Stratford High School, 522 N 3rd Avenue (South Door)
Time: Check in from 8:00 am – 9:00 am – Wrestling will begin around 9:30 am
Entry Fee: $15.00 per wrestler Pre-Registration deadline is March 4th at noon
No walk-ins (no exceptions) Limit 300 wrestlers
Team Entry: $15.00 per team (10 person team)
Grades: Pre-K thru 8th
Format: Folkstyle; Five Man Round Robin; Three one minute periods
Birth Year Age Divisions: 2001-2002, 2003-2004, 2005-2006, 2007-2008,
2009-2011
Divisions 2001-2002 & 2003-2004 in separate gym, on minimum half mats
Awards: Trophies for 1st – 5th place – Divisions 2005-2006, 2007-2008, 2009-2011
Medals for 1st – 3rd place – Divisions 2001-2002, 2003-2004
Team trophies for 1st – 3rd place (Stratford not eligible for team trophy)
