I would not be surprised to see Dennee vs. Ahnen at #182 in the Fennmoore /Stratford match.

Married with children

So many possible matchups in Fenn vs Stratford dual it is mind blowing.

Very interesting pick here, not sure many would agree with that. But that's why they wrestle the matches!

Wouldn't be my final prediction. I said that's the prediction if no one bumped weights which we know that won't happen. I can actually see Fennimore winning by more or Stratford winning by 4-5 depending on how it all shakes out. I will leave my final prediction for Saturday morning. Also, wondering which matches you see a diffrent outcome in if it worked out this way?

Sorry, I wasn't talking about the entire dual outcome. Was specifically talking about the 285 matchup. A sectional champion (Klass) losing to a kid who did not qualify for state(Gross)?

My bad, wondered about that. I mainly made that decision to make the dual closer(which I think it will be.) Also, it was kind of a blind guess after watching Klaas wrestle last weekend. Having never seen Gross wrestle I am not sure how big he is. Just think with if he is close to a true 285 he will have a big size advantage and knowing the match will be close might be trying harder than normal for a pin. Don't think Klaas will be pinned by him but could see back points playing a factor. Also, there was the complication of Gross Med forfeiting his third match at Sectionals after losing to Stanger.

I agree, should be a tight dual!

Gross is definitely a solid wrestler and I wouldn't count him out by any means, but I just wondered if there was a reason for your choice (common opponents, etc.)

Gross is another undersized heavyweight, I believe he has to drink water before weigh ins to be able to bump up to heavy. Definitely looked small at sectionals. Could be a tight match between the undersized heavyweights down in madison.

Trying to decide what I think might happen and I'm breaking down possible wrestlers for each weight class for Fennimore vs Stratford. So many possibilities and will I am excited to see each team's strategy.

Here is what I have based on team sectionals, individual regionals, and a few other duals during the season(whats in Track.)

Stratford vs Fennimore
106: Birchman(lost at regionals, ranked 7th before) vs Fisher(2-1)
Pretty sure no movement here. Birchman only Fennimore wrestler I see at 106 in all duals. Stratford has ff'd most 106 matches

113: Fennimore-Muench (20-27) Glasbrenner(SQ) -Lost to kid Stuttgen FF'd against
Stratford-Karter Stuttgen(6th) (Med FF), Gaulke(13-10)

120: Fennimore-Blair (SQ, Sectional Champ) Glasbrenner
Stratford: Stuttgen, Wenzel (4-10, received a FF at team sectionals)

126: Fennimore-Lee (injured at sectionals?) Blair, Fitzgerald (17-9)
Stratford-Drexler (State Champ) Wenzel

132: Fennimore-Birchman(State Champ over Schawbe) Maximos Miles(12-5)
Stratford-Drexler, Schawbe(2nd), Lucio (SQ)

138: Fennimore-Nutter(5th) Birchman
Stratford-Lucio, Schawbe

145: Fennimore: Lull(3rd) Nutter, Northouse (13-20)
Stratford:Kirsch(11-5) Konner Stuttgen(21-6) Lucio if Drexler and Schwabe bump?

152: Fennimore-Hahn (16-22) Lull if Northouse at 145
Stratford: Heiden(6th) Stuttgen

160: Fennimore: Blaschke(4th) Hahn, Wolf (11-10)
Stratford: Devin Dennee(3rd and beat Blaschke 8-1) Heiden

170: Fennimore: Mason Miles (24-20, 4th at Sectionals) Blaschke
Stratford: D. Dennee, Ford (23-9, 4th at sectionals)

182: Fennimore: Ahnen (SQ) Miles,
Stratford: D. Dennee, Smart (23-9) T. Dennee

195: Fennimore: Ahnen, Hestetune (10-11)
Startford: T. Dennee (State Champ) Smart

220: Fennimore: Ragels(2nd) Klaas(SQ at 285)
Stratford: T. Dennee, Marten (10-7)

285: Fennimore-Klaas,Ragels, Winkers
Stratford-Marten, Gross (16-8 Med FF at sectionals)

What I'm seeing here is a potential coin toss decision. Should be a brutal dual.
If I agreed with you we'd both be wrong.

Don't forget that Trevor Dennee wrestled #182 for most of the season and will probably weigh-in here.

182: Ahnen vs T. Dennee
T. Dennee by dec
Fennimore: 21 Stratford: 22
(Don't think Dennee wrestles at 195. Moving him here instead of 220 because he wrestled 182 before regionals and a higher chance of points and possibly bonus points vs Ahnen than possible no points vs Ragels.)

195: Hestetune vs Smart
Smart by tech fall
Fennimore: 21 Stratford: 27

220: Ragels vs Marten
Ragels by maj dec
Fennimore: 25 Stratford: 27

285: Klaas vs Gross
Klaas by dec
Fennimore: 28 Stratford: 27

Realized this morning I have quite a few majors predicted. Guessing some of those will turn into decisions or falls and that will be the difference. Also interested to see where T. Dennee wrestles and what Fennimore does with Ragels and Klaas. Excited to get to the Field House and enjoy this one.

bigoil

No idea on your predictions but you gave 195 a tech fall and four points. You are now in a tie.

Fabulous Falcons

Some really fun matches between Fennimore and Stratford  at 138, 145, 152 . . .Stratford came ready to wrestle.

Random Lake needs to tap into the free agency market and they could certainly wrestle with these other teams.
