This should be a match packed with close battles and seemingly good outcomes for Bucky - 23-10 win? I did not deep dive on it but hoping Bucky is healthy and in a good place between the ears.

Moe Zart

The series is tied 5-5 in the last 10 duals.
Northwestern beat us 11-27 last year.

Wrestlestat is calling for a 20-13 Bucky win
Dad2.5 says 23-10 for the good guys.

This one will not be close.  The Badgers are going to be well-rested and focused.  No 48-hour turnaround this weekend. Wisconsin 40 Northwestern 0

125 Nicolar Rivera vs Dedrick Nararro
Nico majored Navarro 11-2 last February and Wrestlestat thinks it gets closer this year?  The Badgers have improved this year (much to the chagrin of some of the folks on this board).  Wrestlestat predicts a 9-6.  Dave Navarro was red hot as a chili pepper and his girl Carmen Electra was smokin.  Northwestern's Navarro ain't that guy.  Nico beats RedDick mercilessly.  Rivera by Major 15-5.

133 Zan Fugitt vs Sean Spidle
Common Opponents: 15-6 vs 18-9.  Wrestlestat has it 10-3 for Zan.  Fatmanroll questioned Zan's dedication and discipline a few weeks back.  Turns out it wasn't a weight or discipline issue.  He was wrestling banged up.  Good news, he is healthy and on a mission (Zan, not Fatman).  Zan's web snares Spidleman, Zan by major 20-8.

141 Carson Exferd vs Billy Dekraker.
Common opponent 1-4 vs 3-2.  Wrestlestat has it 4-16 for Dekraker.  Carson is one good match away from turning things around and finding himself in the Cleveland bracket.  It starts Friday.  Barnette teaches him an old Mr Myagi technique, sand the deck.  Northwestern's Rake the Deck doesn't work in landscaping, poker, or wrestling.  7-6 Carson Exferd over Dekraker.

149 Joe Zargo vs Sam Cartella.
This one was 13-7 in favor of Joe in 2023.  Wrestlestat predicts a 9-7 Zargo win.  24 months ago Joe was wrestling with two bad hips and still handled his opponent.  Coming off a loss, Sam is going to encounter a very agitated Badger.  Call the feds, Joe's about to bust up the Cartella.  Zargo by tech 25-10.

157 Luke Mechler vs Gunnar Myers
Common Opponents: Luke 1-2 Gunnar 0-2.  Wrestlestat has it 6-7 in favor of Myers.  Luke is the top GUNnar in this matchup. Wrestlestat's Wrong Mechler Mauls Myers by Major 11-3.

165 Cody Goebel vs Jacob Bostelman.
Common Opponents: 5-3 vs 4-3.  Wrestlestat has it 7-6 Goebel.   One of those matches Dad2.5 referenced as being a close battle.  I agree.  The Wisconsin faithful are the deciding factor, pushing Goebel to another Badger victory.  In our Fieldhouse Code is the Bossman over Bostelman.  Cody by decisions 5-1.

174 Lucas Condon vs Eddie Enright.
Common opponents: Lucas 3-3 Eddie 4-2.  Wrestlestat says 7-8 them. Another Wrestlestat projection of a close loss.  The algorithm is enWrong about Enright.  Condon by decision 6-3.

184 Cale Anderson vs Jesse Perez
Common opponents 1-3 vs 3-1.  Wrestlestat says 6-8 Perez.  If Cale is back this week he will be hungry for a Bog 10 win and the seeding advantages each win provides.  The show Anderson puts on will leave Perez Rosie.  Anderson by major 15-6.

197 Wyatt Ingham vs Alex Smith.
Common Opponents: Wyatt 2-1 Alex 1-2.  Wrestlestat 10-8 for Big Country. Like 149, the officials did not do Wyatt any favors vs Maryland.  Wyatt is going to be angrier than Alex's uncle Will Smith at an awards show.   Ingham is going to treat Alex like Chris Rock and slap him around in front of everyone.   Not even Uncle Phil, Carleton, and Jeffrey the Butler can save Alex from this beatdown.  Ingham by major 12-3

285 Braxton Amos vs Gabe Christenson.
Common opponents: Amos 4-1, Christenson 2-4.  Wrestlestat calls it a 17-1 Tech. Gabe is a ramblin man.  He's been to Iowa, Virginia, and now ChIraq err I mean Northwestern.    Here's the thing, he ain't Pat Christenson from 1976, he ain't Pete Christensen from a couple of years ago.  Braxton pins Christenson in a crucifix.

Best line of the whole post.
As long as we are keeping score, I've got something to prove
