For those wanting to see the badger wrestling  team succeed, please consider giving.

Recruit, retain, reward. Let's retain the wrestlers we have let's reward those that have shown great success and let's recruit new talent in to do so take dollars in this environment.

Any link to what I am donating to or who, or even what this is?

Saw Bono link this on Twitter as well, but also with no context.

Thanks

This is an initiative of the Wisconsin RTC.

The RTC exists to train and coach athletes, currently high school and college athletes and this new initiative is set to raise $ to recruit new athletes, retain existing athletes and also to set rewards for accomplishments, like NCAA qualifier, AA, etc.

If there is an athlete you'd like to designate to, please note that or reach out to myself or Coach Bono.

We need your help. This is the Wild West. Doesn't matter if the portal is open or closed, people are calling. Let's raise the funds to recruit, retain and reward our athletes. Zan and Coach Bono are headed to the Pan Am games in April.

You are bringing up some great points and tonkeep going forward the program needs all of theses. Helpful advice to to you and the program.

We need way better communication
Updates on the RTC
Bono making more appearances around the state
More involvement in our state programs
How is money being spent

Sure we don't need hand shaking and pats on the back. Being more transparent in what is being done. Do we have any athlete in the RTC?

This is a 2 way street on giving and receiving. When Bono came into the state he could have run for governor and probably won. Fast forward since his hire the program has gone backwards, no athletes in the RTC, women's program being cut.

We have heard about all these events, fund raisier and such but now it seems like it has become begging for money. What happened to all the previous money that was made? Gross made a world team and his high school coaches were mat aide and paid their own dime to get there. Where was the RTC money for that?

There is alot if variables that have to
Happen from Bono also.

Saying it nice but to me is seems like the program is asking for all this money and I for one is not seeing those results or missing them.

Just my 2 cents and only mine.

Not only yours.

I can't remember the last update
As long as we are keeping score, I've got something to prove

This is a step in the right direction, but poorly done. Take a look at what the Hawks have done with ROY or Illinois donate right on the roster for a positive example. You get a receipt, its professional.

When I give money, I want it transparent and be able to give funds to my choosing. I really enjoyed BTS Chicago gym fundraiser a few years back, wedding style for another creative positive example.

This is cumbersome, lacks a small donation option and is pretty confusing.

Lastly, what happened to the Women's RTC?

Agree with all of this, I used to give money on a regular basis, until the transparency and communication went away.
I won't blindly give money until I know what it is actually being used for.
They start being transparent and my wallet will open again.

Sad to see what has happened to UW wrestling program under Bono's leadership. I suppose this is Askren's fault too?

So if you want to make another donation you can below? Uf da, lowest donation is 1 grand! Well it has become a huge thing now. I wish there was just an area to make a small donation. I would guess other programs are alot more. I guess welcome to the new age of college sports. We have to pay for them to play!

I just posted you can make any donation level you want. $5, $50 all are welcome. The word additional may be throwing off but I know you can make a $5 donation, I just did to confirm.
