If someone told me 5 years ago that we would be worse than Maryland and we'd be desperately trying to stay away from a last place finish in the Big 10 tournament I would have had a heart attack from laughing too much.
First this has nothing to do with the athletes because I know they are trying their best, but Bozo should be embarrassed with how he has run this program into the ground.
Oh and all you Bozo defenders with the same tired excuses (NIL, facilities, and AWA) please don't bother commenting because your acceptance with this garbage is 1 of many problems associated with this program.
Lastly for those that really truly believe the tired excuses are valid go take a look at Little Rock and how they've somehow managed to not just start their program, but also build it into a competitive team that would absolutely slaughter our Badgers squad.

I agree. Need to figure out why NONE of the top wrestlers want to come here. Is it a coach that kids have lost all confidence in or something else, like bad facilities or lack of money? Can't blame it all on Askren either. Agree w that too.

I'm sure a few people know the reason(s). Either way, it's probably too late to fix it w o a fresh start. HS kids don't view WI as a place that will maximize their potential.

It clearly falls on Bono. He's struggled with recruiting and keeping guys from leaving. South Dakota State seems to be doing just fine without him. I certainly hope Rivera and Fugitt are not lured away after this year.

Remind me of the recruits? If I remember right no top 50 or even top 100 but I am not going to say that for sure. I still am not convinced Amos and Zargo are going to be back, Hopefully I am wrong on that too. Bottom line -- train wreck!
