While I am totally at fault of this and I am a bit ashamed at myself for falling into and doing this.

While we bash on Bono and staff for just bout everything. I at times forget thier are 30 ish athletes on the team that the athletes and families have put thier trust into Bono and the program. I believe when we bash Bono and the programs we are in a way bashing young adults and thier families also.

While my dislike for what is going on under Bono comes out, we do have to remember these are young adults that we cheered and supported.

I am going to make a better effort to show more support to the athletes and thier quest to be thier vest they can be.

Sorry if it sounds corny, maybe out of line but the current athletes and family's do need our support! Thanks for my .02 cents!

How much has to do with Bono though, versus apathy from the athletic dept?

Good point! With that said and thinking of the Athletes they would be better served under a different coaching staff

Great points. I just feel that maybe we as people that wish the best at times forget that there are athletes and families that put thier respected trust into Bono and with us tearing him apart may been hurtful towards some of them. That is it! Just to remember there are good kids in the program that need our support.

The college athletes would be better served by a coaching change.  You guys are doing the right thing by complaining and wanting better results.  Keep it up

Ben, do you think we have the facilities to get a top notch coach to lead the program, or are we barking up the wrong tree?

We are part of the oldest toughest sport in the world!! If you have ever wrestled in the badgers room it's not near as bad as it's made out to be. The mats are great, plenty of space for 30-40 kids. The weight room and training rooms are very nice and newly remodeled. I just don't think the facilities are near the deterrent a lot of folks do.

During covid we were wrestling in haymows, pole sheds, and garages!!

Credit where credit is due, the Badgers are having a good weekend out east.  Maybe these teams aren't powerhouses, but guys are getting wins and wins are always good.  Though I'm an outsider, I'd say this is smart scheduling - work to build confidences and work to build team chemistry.  Go Badgers!
