I know a lot of the best wrestlers didn't seem to go. That's my 1st question. Why? A lot of them have graduated already so maybe that was the reason but weren't some solid underclassmen also missing?

For the guys that went, it doesn't seem like we did well, overall. I saw very few WI kids in the semi-finals (I see Hunter Stevens made the 16U final; congrats to him), for 16U or junior. Wondering if others had a similar observation or disagree. Thanks.

Anytime you have a dominate grade come through it take a couple years to bounce back.

Looks like they geared up to win National duals, nothing wrong with that.

Rodgers also in 16u finals so 2 16u finalists.

I don't think we laid an egg.  Some of our best were at the Pan-am Games winning their brackets, and a couple of others chose to not go.  Maybe they were injured or had other commitments.  All I can say is that after being there in person and watching the amount of competition there is insane.  I watched DI commits go down all over the place.  In brackets of 140-150 kids upsets happen and it was just a joy to watch as a fan.

Wisconsin is losing a great class, maybe the best ever, but we still have a lot of young talent coming up and Wisconsin is a good place when it comes to wrestling.  Our clubs, all over the state, are doing great things and will continue to grow the sport.

For the record Pennsylvania is loaded!!!!

Wonder why PA didn't have their best wrestlers at the Junior duals?

Wonder how well Army Ant did at Fargo.  ::)
11 AA not bad. Fargo brackets have 100+ kids! We did a lot better than many other states. Congrats Team WI
