Wow, I wrote this as a joke and it actually happened! The dude is a beast but how can we compete in the big 10 with D3 transfers when the competition is getting top of the line D1 recruits/transfers?  Is this Bono's new strategy? Getting D2/3 guys??

This athlete is a 2 time D3 champ with only 1 loss on his record in those 2 years and that was to the LA Crosse 197 pound we r Ben kaw.......also a fargo champ.

He is an explosive wrestler that can score whenever he wanted on the JC Nad D3 level. His conditioning maybe his only flaw but Bono and company seem to have the wrestlers in really good shape.

Good 1 year signing for the Badgers! Plugged a hole and gave the team some flexibility.

Read that he has 2 years of eligibility.

He may be a beast and may be explosive but winning D3 national championships dont mean you will remotely come close to competing in the Big 10.  He fills a hole and will likely be far from .500 record.

Uh... Making yourself sound silly. Did you watch Liegel this year?

Maybe so. I saw he has 1 years at juco and 2 at wartburg. Didn't think he had a covid year but you never know.

You could be right, when he hit the portal he was listed as 1 year left but that could have been an error.

wrastle63 :  Lucky to be .500 in the Big 10, but then again so will every other wrestler stepping on the mat for the Badgers  when season starts. :)

Doesnt matter much. If he's an improvement, that's good. He can be fun to watch. Just don't get all negative about not being #1 in the conference... that doesn't seem to be happening this next year. And that's okay.

Got plenty of other things to enjoy. And this new guy could give surprises. Have some optimism. Need a new young fresh attractive coach that can work with Askren and company but that doesn't seem to be happening today--- so it take it as it is.

Some people just want to be negative. Thankfully college wrestlers don't read this forum and make decisions. What a miserable fan base. Why would anyone want to come here and wrestle when it's always a negative?
As long as we are keeping score, I've got something to prove
