He did well.  Got called for stalling twice in the 2nd, then reversed and got 4 back, so he turned 1 point in to 6, he did well

Thoughts on the length of challenge reviews this tournament/in general? On multiple occasions there's been a break in the action for minutes at a time. I know they want to make the right call, but the extended break changes the entire match. Reviews need to be quick or stick with the original call. After all it wasn't so long ago when reviews didn't exist!

Berge (184) from SDSU was destroyed by Liegel in the first round and then made his way all the way through the consolation brackets to now be going for third/fourth place. Good for Berge, but it shows just how close Liegel was to actually placing and placing well.
Merely having an opinion doesn't necessarily make it a good one

Just as bad at the bigtens, not sure what they showed on tv but in person it was brutal.  Also, the amount of the challenges seemed way more than what I've seen in this tournament.  I don't know the answer.  Everyone yells for an independent review but at sure seems to add time, like the dude in back wasn't paying attention

Camacho isn't, but still. Tough road to navigate.
As long as we are keeping score, I've got something to prove

Oops missed him.

Ghetto,  Go to mat 1 and it is first match of day for Barnett's first match.

Great career Mr. Barnett!!!!!!

Loved how you just went for it in your last match for a big move/throw.  Didn't work out but that is how I would have wanted to go out.
Of Course, this is only my opinion and no one elses!

Eric Barnett is a warrior.  Love this guy.  Gonna miss his leadership.  I hope he opens a wrestling school in the state and starts developing stud wrestlers that want to go to Wisconsin and follow in his footsteps.

I watched the match and I think Berge initiated most of the action, but Berge's poor finishes were turned into Liegel points.  I think Berge just wrestled poorly that match.  I give Liegel credit for a nice win and for capitalizing on mistakes and using his quickness to get the go-behind takedowns, but I think its a stretch to say he was close to AAing.  Liegel won only one match and lost to the 25th and 10th seed and 16 guys outlasted him, 7 were eliminated at same round, and he outlasted 9 guys.  In the end he did only slightly better than what he was expected to do as 24th seed.

Berge first match at the NCAA national tournament and lost to Liegal. Then gets his wheels under him and look at that roll! While I feel Liegal did great this year not sure if rolls are reverses Liegal goes on that roll. Berge is a 2X world medalist also.
