Who is projected to be there next year? Can Rivera make that?

I think I saw a post not long ago indicating that that's the plan.

Spurley/Dodgeville is a commit - not sure if he'll be ready to compete right out of the gate.

There's also Kruse - who I know nothing about.
(reporter) ... "Rocky ... do you think you've got brain damage?"
(Rocky) ....... "I don't see any."

Coach Bono has said Nicolar walks around at 136.

So does that mean he makes 125 no problem?

I guess only he knows but generally most guys are 15+ (often 20-25 for upper weights).

Of Course, this is only my opinion and no one elses!

thought I heard Reid is redshirt and still mending

No matter what, those are going to be some pretty darn big shoes to fill.  Barnett has been such a constant and consistent winner.  I know it doesn't make sense, but I'd consider him an anchor at the top of the lineup.

I would dispell that in the current day with diet plans and such. Maybe in the way off-season your getting like that but not during the season. Rivera does appear to be on the smaller side for 133 so maybe 125 is reachable!

walk around weight is generally not considered in season. You know that your son was 20+ this summer.

It may differ from school to school but in season walking around weight is in that 7 to 12 pounds for upper weight and lower for lower weight. Amazing today's diets how they have changed the weight in the current state of wrestling. Beer and pizza is known to be consumed as a regular part of the diet I the summer.

Back in the 80's a former Badger was my High School coach for 1 year. He never said this to me because I was a freshman but the older guys told me that coach will tell them to drink beer instead of water a day or 2 before a meet because it would dehydrate them and help them make weight. Times have changed.  ;D
