Rolled to a 3-0 record at the Journeymen Collegiate Classic, with all his victories coming by first-period pin
Pinned Army West Point's Eddie Hummel at 2:06 in his first bout, Bloomsburg's Cade Balestrini at the 2:58 mark in his second and notched a third straight first-period fall in his final bout against Lehigh's Kelvin Griffin (1:30)
Wrestled a total of 6:34 minutes (of a possible 21:00) and improved to 3-0 on the season
Earns the second Wrestler of the Week Award of his career and his first of the season

165 pounds – Jr. – Joliet, Ill. – Joliet Catholic Academy

Earned his first tournament title of the season at the 2023 Michigan Open with a 4-0 record at 165 pounds in the men's open competition
Ranked No. 4 in the country, Hamiti opened the event with two back-to-back pins against Tyler Swiderski of Central Michigan (2:21) and Beau Mantanona of Michigan (1:47)
Recorded an 11-1 major decision over 30th-ranked Cael Carlson of Oklahoma in the semifinals before claiming the championship with a dominant 15-0 shutout tech fall of No. 10 Caleb Fish of Michigan State
The Academic All-Big Ten honoree earns the first Wrestler of the Week Award of his career
