And now he really IS coming back to Wrestle! A....full year later!

Also, Marcus Blaze who beat Tony Ramos in an open a couple of years ago as a freshman or Soph(must have been Soph year) and has since beaten several NCAA Champs, AAs, World team members, is committed to wrestle for those plucky upstarts in State College.

That's all they needed was just a LITTLE talent to help propel them over the edge...

But...seriously, I doubt he went back to Minnesota for NIL money. Iowa or Okie St, they'd have all thrown a LOT of cash at him.

I feel like I'm the only one who doesn't think this was a major upset. I knew Hendrickson would be a tough matchup for Steveson. Hendrickson was absolutely dominant this year even against Kerk.

Yeah...you are.

Gable teched Hendrickson the last time they wrestled. Kerk tore his ACL, so dominating him is a bit less impressive.

This was the biggest upset in NCAA History and arguably Wrestling History. Maybe the 2000 Olympics where Saitiev lost to Slay?

(I don't give bonus points for adjusting your hands in a clinch and then mythical but in accurate legends about not having a point scored against you for 9 years or beaten for 14...just to pre-emptively get out in front of that one).
