I'd say Gross is probably now around 65 kg anyway. Seems like a decent partner to me.

I'm sure the Cliff Keen money didn't hurt (assuming there is some) in wooing Gomez to Michigan.

Agreed. But money talks. And UW DOESNT HAVE THE DEEP POCKETS of the Michigan's, Ohio State, Penn State and Iowa. And that's partially on us as fans/boosters.

Well sure but usually guys like partners around the same weight class. Gross is certainly top 5 guy at 57kg and i would guess Gomez is going to be 65kg.
