I remember saying last year I thought PSU should have just stuck with Beard...a Freshmen coming off a 7th place finish.

Well, I looked bad when Dean had the Wrestling Gods on his side for a couple of matches that VERY easily could have gone the other way, but Beard(with 3 years left) looks like he's a legitimate title contender at 197.

On the other hand, I think 7 Penn State guys could win it.

I think Haines will at 157.

And now that Bartlett is finally at his natural weight, he's really looking good. This match vs Woods is going to be the first best test for him this year. I think he pulls it off.
