Iowa dual

The time has been set for the Iowa dual (2pm central). It will be on Big Ten network but hopefully we can have as many Badger fans as possible in the Field House.

Register your Youth Team for UW Badger Youth Team Day

The UW Badger Wrestling Team will host 2023 Youth Team Day versus Iowa on Sunday, January 22, 2023.
Youth Teams may Request FREE ADMISSION to the Sunday, January 22 Dual Meet vs Iowa by completing the request form you may download HERE:

The Sunday, January 22 dual begins at 2:00PM in the UW Fieldhouse.

Download and complete the form and email a copy to nfredrich@athletics.wisc.edu by Friday, January 19th at 3:00pm if you are interested in attending. Registration will be confirmed by the UW Athletics Marketing staff once received. Requests are taken on a first-come first-served basis.

Just a heads up.

This dual ('Iowa dual') and Youth Day is Sunday, January 22, 2023 versus Iowa.

WIAA Regionals are in February on Saturday, February 11. UW Wrestles Minnesota that day at 1:00pm with the Raffle to follow at Lucky's 1313

The Badger Raffle is after the Minnesota dual at Lucky's 1313 / 1313 Regent St. Madison, Wisconsin

As Tom said, Sconnie Bar! Close, good food, and tons of wrestling fans before and after! Get there early though, it's gonna fill up for Iowa!

Really fun dual today. Don't care that Iowa didn't roll out their starters at 174 and 197.

Barnett putting Lee On his back for a second was awesome. Most 125s don't really look interested to wrestle him.

Model had a really nice shot and was so close to a takedown. That was the match right there.

If Amos would have somehow been able to pull off that cradle we'd be looking at a new roof for the field house.
