Pointers Women's Wrestling Updates

Happy New Year Pointers Women's Wrestling Fans!

The team started the new year with a solid week of practice, and we are now on the bus about halfway to Louisville for the NWCA National Duals. Our first dual is Friday at 9am central time against Gannon, who is currently ranked #9 in the nation. We have a team that can compete well against them and the rest of the 16-team field, which includes 8 of the top 9 ranked teams in the country. You can watch live on flowrestling (with a subscription) or follow results on trackwrestling. A handful of our ladies will also be competing at the same venue in an open tournament, which you can follow here.

As we enter the second half of our season, the best record on the team belongs to sophomore Rose Ann Marshall, who is currently 12-4. Not far behind are freshmen Amor Tuttle and sophomore Jade Herzer who sit at 11-4. Though Kelly Enriquez's 7-6 record might not jump off of the page, how far she has come after going 0-8 as a freshman and 2-16 last year is definitely noteworthy. She is evidence of how much you can improve in our sport when you are doing the right things, which she does every day.

Along with our Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook pages, you can now follow Pointers Women's Wrestling on our new TikTok page (Page? Account?). Credit to Rose Ann and the ladies for everything you see on there.
