Mr. Batchelder was a great person. He also established the UW La Crosse wrestling program. He was the staff member who over saw my teaching internship.

Hi Tom,

I also had Dr. Batchelder as a professor at UWL and have fond memories.  Apparently, we are both kind of old.

I had classes with Dr. Batchelder as a junior and senior .  When I was a senior (1984). He showed up in the wrestling room with his gear.  Still had the old white canvas wrestling shoes!  He came to roll around with me.  He told me don't hurt me.  We rolled around for 10-20 minutes while the rest of the team was warming up. I enjoyed his classes and felt honored he came in for a roll around. He was one of my favorite teachers.   RIP Batch
