I lived on the Iowa/wisconsin boarder and was able to watch these Iowa PBS LIVE broadcasts. They were just the neatest thing EVER! I would lug home a GIGANTIC VCR that must have weight 60 pounds, hook it up to the house antenna and record the dual as I watched it. Must still have some of those tapes around here. They are probably in some banana box I use for storage and moving.

The matches, fans, broadcasters were just such a pleasure in a time when there was no amateur wrestling on TV anywhere else.
