Legendary Athens coach Jerry Wagner passes

Former Athens wrestling coach Jerry "Buddha" Wagner passed away last week on September 1. He was a hall of fame coach that lead that great Athens program of from the late 70s through the mid-90s. Per his wishes, a private family ceremony will be held.

Just seemed like news that should be shared here. A legend is gone.

Many Wisconsin coaches have been influenced by Coach Wagner. State titles and Individual champs galore  from such a small school before the days of clubs.
