Amos hasn't stepped foot on a college mat yet. When he trips off a few wins you will see him shed the 112 ranking really quick and move into a single digit rank without a doubt. Heck he might move in after his first win.

Relax people gabe steveson had a low rank before he stepped onto the mat also but then he moved to top 3 real quick.

Amos is going to be a real good one for the badgers for sure. The one thing I wonder and wonder out loud is he maybe the first person that wrestles 197 in college but on the senior level maybe a 202 or 213 pounder. That is an interesting way to attack the senior level. Let's hope Amos attacks it well.
His name was Kyle Snyder

?? I believe Snyder moved up to hwt for 3 years.

Jake Varner was a 2 time NCAA runner up at 184 before moving up to 197 and becoming a 2 time champ. He made the world team after is junior year at 96 kg and of course went on to Olympic gold in 2012 at 96kg.

Varner won in 2009 and 2010. Maybe your thinking Jordan Burroughs.

Not ripping because I want Amos to do great. Maybe he goes 92kg next spring for senior level and works his way up for 2024.

All I am saying itnis a different approach

Nothing. It was me that got the info all messed up. I forgot about that 2009 team. Had it in my head it was 2010 and 2011 with the gold at 2012. Totally got my years all messed up and your are right and I was completely missing the boat, my bad and sorry.

Amos will not be the first to do that, darn it all!
