Amery returns so many hammers next year. They seem to have a few freshmen coming in next year that could make a big impact. NGL also should be pretty tough coming out of that sectional. I am not 100% sure on what they have returning, but they had some MS wrestlers that have impressed me this year including a young Opelt.

NGL Returners:

106- Jace Price 6th at Sectionals
113- Luke Dux 2nd at State
120- Derek Zchernitz 4th at State
126- Louis Nickolai 3rd at Regionals
132- Jarick Young 6th at Sectionals
138- Gage Ludovic 4th at Regionals
145- Keeghan Anding 4th at Regionals
160- Dane Luchterhand 5th at Sectionals
182- Carter Schoengarth Sectional Qualifier
195- Daniel Polzin 4th at Regionals
220- Joe Polzin 4th at Regionals
285- Gunnar Hoffman 5th at State

Looking at NGL, going to need a few freshmen to make an impact or some underclassman to take a big jump to beat Amery.

Both hunter beese and Joe wentz wrestled at sectionals......sadly they did not place but they wrestled and will be back in the mix next year for sure, I also hear Amery may have a very good middle weight guy coming in. If that is true they may have the top 5 or 6 upper weight guys in a dual.setting in the state.

Quad,

don't be worrying about any potential team state dual quite yet.

Enjoy your summer. LC will have a shot when that time comes when the snow flies again.

I believe they bring in 3 8th graders that placed at youth state.

Yes, incoming Freshman will play a huge role in what teams can put together.  In Amery's case they got it done last year by consistently getting 6 points from 5-6 wrestlers every meet which is tough to overcome.  I know they have few freshmen lighter weights coming in that will help and, as mentioned, have a new wrestler coming at the midweights to fill a big hole.  They will surely be a tough draw.
But PDC and Winn. are very young as well and B-W didnt loose much either.
I just wonder how difficult it will be to wrestle out of a likely 24-36 point hole with Amery's pins and the remaining solid line-up throughout.
I am not sure what L-C has coming in (do they win their regional? my bet is yes), and NGL is deep.

Fun talk is good, my friend. LC has a rich history and will be in the fight. I just advised no worrying  ;D i like to talk and entertain possibilities also. Super glad normal tournaments will be back and no more worrying about COVID cancelling things.

Winneconne is in a good place for next season, Kiel has a good group of guys but Winneconne seems deeper from looking at team state lineups. Meunier and the Hart brothers are beasts. Sternard, Kleinschmidt, Krings, Marks, and Klemm are state worthy guys. I'm sure they'll have some other kids stepping up for them as well.

Next question for Dark Knight is how would Coleman fair against these teams? Who do they have returning this year and can they beat my tigers?

DarkKnight

I'm not sure what next year will look like, but I'd say anything can happen, depends on kids growth and whatnot. It'll be fun when that time comes. I'd assume Coleman should be among the best in the state again. No guarantees though.

You Tigers will have to deal with those Shiocton Chiefs first I believe, they are up and coming.
