I see that Macey injury defaulted out of the third match. Hope she is ok.  She had a huge knot on her head from Friday's tournament. Not sure if it's related or not.

Time to bring her home, and start a powerhouse college program to go with the great group of women at the RTC.
As long as we are keeping score, I've got something to prove

I heard it was her arm or shoulder.

Welker is impressive for a Junior in HS. Anyone have background on her journey? Was Burlington involved or was it a club? Team Wisconsin?

My brother saw the match on TV and said it was a dislocation of the shoulder - she tried to continue but then it came out again. Yikes.
Merely having an opinion doesn't necessarily make it a good one

My take on it was that as she was attempting to prevent a go-behind and rotating to face her opponent (think about rotating on a post arm while in the process of doing a switch), all of her, and most of her opponent's weight and pressure were on that one arm. This appeared to cause her hand to "stick" to to the mat as she rotated rather than being able to move with the rotation of their bodies, causing the shoulder to come out.
