Shane Liegel from River Valley won the NWCA Division III Championship on Saturday. Liegel was the #2 seed @ 184 lbs and defeated the top seed Paul Detwiler (who was top ranked wrestler in the recent D3 Poll) 4-1 in the finals.

Shane is the son of former Badger wrestler Ralph Liegel, and the brother of recent Badgers Scott and Seth.

Congratulations to Shane and the Liegel family!
