How many individual state wrestling champions Has Winneconne had in school history?
I am now OLD enough to know how little I knew when I knew it ALL.

Flatbottom

6 individual state championships
4 individual state runner-ups

A handle full of state placers and a hand full of state qualifiers.

5 team conference championships (maybe a half dozen team regional championships) all happening in the last 20 years.)

The program has had most of this happen all in the last 20 years.  Prior to 2002 there had only been 2 state qualifiers.     This "winning" or "strong" tradition is something Winneconne has been building up in the last 20 years.  It's a 50 plus year old program but in recent years has put a lot of time into building it up.

If I agreed with you we'd both be wrong.

I think Dallas Herbst was the first state champion the school ever had in any sport.

They really have built up the wrestling program the past twenty years or so.

Ship-Titan-Wolve

1992 state baseball champions. Winneconne also had multiple state champions in track (boys and girls) prior to 2003.
Interesting fact- Ben Selsing won a state wrestling title for Winneconne in 2003 at 130lbs. Dallas won his 1st title approx. 30 minutes later.
