That's an unfortunate and too-soon loss to the packer family. Good guy regardless of feelings of job performance etc.

The guy drafted Aaron Rodgers after 22 teams passed. Maybe the best draft pick of all time. The Packers did win a Super Bowl on his watch. Many detractors will say they should have won more with Rodgers as QB.

I've beaten up on TT for things he didn't do, but after listening to writers speak of him, Ted Thompson was a true Packer. He embraced the culture of the Packers and tried to bring in people who fit the mold of what he thought a Packer looked like. The amount of support from former players on social media gave a true indication of the high regard Ted Thompson was held in the eyes of players and personnel people in Green Bay.
