I can vaguely remember going to Random Lake wrestling meets as a 4 and 5 year old watching my brother Jerry in 1969 and 1970. All I can remember was getting money for concessions and if we were lucky going to Adell for a hamburger after the dual meet.

I do remember my older brother Jerry singing a song many times. . ."Where we go. . . people want to know. . . who we are. . .we tell them. . .we are the Mighty. . .the Mighty Mighty Rams".

When I got into high school it was interesting that the old wrestling coach AJ had the picture hung in his biology room of the first Central Lakeshore Conference Championship team in 1970. . .I suppose  AJ had it hanging in his room until he retired.

Random Lake is blessed with many unselfish coaches and given enough talent the day will come for that ultimate moment.
