Can do Ellsworth's 5 quick.

132 Poellinger gets Thelen, tough matchup for sure in the Pirate from Two Rivers but he's been wrestling tough last 2 Saturdays.  If he can pull the upset he has a decent shot at making the semis.

138 Stuhl is favored to make semis where he will probably run into Tijerina.  Can he beat the kids ranked higher than him this year (Bianchi in finals possibly), pulling for him to pull the upsets.

152 Huppert gets Piontek from Denmark.  I feel Piontek is equal to at least the 2 kids Huppert lost to at sectionals so will need to have his head on straight and get after it to make it to day 2.  If he can do that he has a tough matchup again in Maertz.  Tough draw but that's the way it goes usually coming in as a third placer.

220 Anschutz, should be great experience for the sophomore and has already made it further than many would have predicted.  See if he can win a match vs the Junior from Omro.

285 Peterson looks like he should be favored to make the semis.  Wertel from Denmark most likely there.  Never know with Petey but he might have the best shot at a state championship of all the Panthers.

Good luck to all MBC wrestlers, bring home some hardware!

Amery 4

132 Penard: Has Kilgas from Little Chute first round and be favored. Then Anderson Viroqua in quarters will be a tough match, gets by him and probably Thelen from Two Rivers.

138 Tylee: Has Max Schmidt from Richland Center.  Interesting matchup here hopefully the MBC can get one, then he'd get to face one of the WI Wrestling royal families in Bianchi if he can win his first one.

145 Ingham: Good draw here for Walker.  By WI Rankings he is slated to make the semis where he would likely get the freshman phenom Scoles from Kewaskum.

195 Hopke: Another good draw where by rankings Kale is setup to make the semis where he would probably face Klister from the D2 power this year of Wrightstown.

BW 3

126 Bonte:  Looks like if he can get by his first match he has a good shot at the finals.  Mogenburg of Wittenberg-Birnamwood is a tough draw though.  Wrestles well I'd say he has a good chance to be in the finals.

170 Ramberg: Got a decent draw.  Hopefully can get a win over Wagner from Berlin in prelims and then see what happens.  Helmbrecht is no slouch waiting in the wings.

182 Guthrie:  Probably gets the 3 ranked Witt from Monroe in his first match, wins that one he gets the top ranked Worachek.  Brutal draw but hey that's state for ya.

OSCEOLA 1

113 Oswald: Brutal draw here getting a tough Kaczrowski from Seymour ranked in top of the weight for much of the year.  Can pull this upset he has a great shot in the future.

SCC 1

160 Wasley: Will most likely get 5th ranked Morgan from Berlin first match, then if wins that one most likely top ranked Neff in semis.  He's a stud for a sophomore though so wouldn't be shocked to see him finish at top of the podium come Saturday night.

Somerset 1

126 Hantsbarger:  Has a good shot at making the second day drawing a freshman from Port Washington first round.  Then he would get top ranked Severin.  He's given Bonte a few good matches last couple weeks so anything is possible here.

Low Single

Best of luck to all of our MBC wrestlers this weekend!
