This week we have:
Ellsworth vs. SCC
New Richmond vs. Prescott
Osceola vs. Somerset
Amery vs. Baldwin

Amery and Baldwin should be able to put on a good show with many good match-ups.  If Amery can get the W, it will be a battle of undefeateds next week for the MBC Dual Title.  The other duals this week are pretty cut and dried IMO.

Ellsworth over scc but closer than one thinks 10 to 4 or 9 to 5 scc will surprise
Osceola over Somerset maybe big

Now maybe match of the week
If Prescott has their full line back from sickness I think it will be 8 to 6 new richmond.

I do think amery/Baldwin will be alot of fun and worth the price of admission for both teams fans and maybe some novice wrestling geeks like me. Amery is tough and has some real loaded weights for sure. Bonus points are the key to both teams in this one!

126: Tossup (might be a swing match whoever can win this one)
132: Tossup but edge to AM Penard
138: Amery looking for bonus here for Amery
145: Amery (same as above)
152: Tossup edge AM
160: BW looking for bonus
170: BW looking for bonus
182: BW (unless Hopke down as he has wrestled 182 then more of a tossup edge BW)
195: Amery (IF Hopke here, tossup if he's down)
220: Amery looking for bonus
285: Tossup: but Neilsen pinned Malstrom at NB so edge Amery

Many tossup matches will decide this one and probably comes down to bonus points.  Should be a great dual.
Amery edge in 7 matches
BW edge in 6 with one I'm not sure who to give edge too.  Pretty even I'd say.

Might go advantage Amery on probable more bonus points.

Ellsworth 47-27 over SCC.

SCC wrestled well with wins at 113, 126, 132, 160, 182 and 195.

SCC gave up forfeits at 106 and HWT.

Ellsworth was dominant at 120, 138, 145, 152, 170 and 220.

Fun dual, I liked amery warm up before.

Turning point match was at 113 for bw. Langer was up 4 to 0 and got pinned in the second. Not taking away anything from amery because that burke kid wouldn't stop moving! Just a fire plug. Also neither kid was close to 113 either. Burke was giving up 10 to 15 pounds in a match between two titans 

Sounds like scc and Ellsworth went 6 to 6 in matches wrestled. 2 ff for scc kind put the hammer down.

Sounds like a fun mbc tournament and a good dual with Ellsworth and amery next week!

While I really like your thinking as to this Thursday night will decide the conference, it may decide the dual aspect of the season but we still have a conference tournament to actually decide the champ.

How about a dual trophy or plaque. Give it a name like............so and so name mbc dual meet championship..........

Some former mbc great like kirby Symes,  Bob Olson, Jack radabuagh, Henry yetter. Just tossing out some coaches names off the top of my head. Bring up some one I have left off please! Could be an athletic director also.
