Wisconsin Natives have qualified for the Olympic trials that will be held at Penn State on April 4-5.  They will need to choose an Olympic Weight.

Overview of Olympic Procedures:

For the Olympics, the weights are reduced from 10 to 6 in each style (men's freestyle, women's freestyle, and men's greco).

There are only 16 slots per weight

A 'country' (not a participant) qualifies by doing one of the following:
1) In the previous year's UWW World Championship- Make it to the Bronze match or above in the Olympic Weight. (Gold, Silver, Bronze, Bronze, and losers of the two Bronze Matches).  (6 of the 16)
2) Finish in the top 2 at the respective continental championships African & Oceania, European, Asian, or Pan-Am.  (8 of the 16)
3) Finish in the top 2 at the last chance at the World Qualification Tournament in Bulgaria April 30 - May 3, 2020 (2 of the 16)

Currently, the United States has qualified the following and the winner of the Olympic Trials will automatically qualify:
Men's Freestyle: 74 kg and 97 kg.  Women's Freestyle: 68 kg and 76 kg.

The path for those in a weight that is not qualified will need to win the Olympic Trials and then get gold or silver in either the Pan Ams or the World Qualifier in Bulgaria.
