Braxton Amos won his 3rd straight Walsh Ironman today. (missed his freshman year due to injury)

Huge fan of Braxton, but there is a huge jump from high school to college, especially at the upper weights.  I sure hope he is a title contender already as a true freshman, but it might be more likely it will take a year or two in a college room to get to that level.

Sure hope that is the case though!

Are the plans for him to go 197?  We already have a HWT that would be tough for him to beat.

I believe he said he planned to wrestle 197 in college.

New weights for some guys posted up on the roster:

Michael Cullen: 125
Tyler Dow: 174
Garrett Model: 157
Salemme: Heavy

Termini & Stilling swapped spots, with Stilling down at 141 now and Termini up at 149. Bahr joins Model in jumping from 149 to 157. Landers is all the way up from from 157 to 174. He's joined by Krattiger, down from 184. Vosters is up to 165.

Let's try this again!

Also, that Burwick *still* wasn't moved to 125 tells you DarkKnight is just saying words.

Luke, we need a new chart with the information we now know, redshirts pulled, Gut gone, etc

I read somewhere that he was the 5th to wrestle in at least 3 Iron Mans and never lose.

The other four were David Taylor, Zahid Valencia, Spencer Lee, and some other dude. Pretty impressive company.

+1!

"some other dude" = Bo Jordan

No. 8 – Bo Jordan, St. Paris Graham

Another of the Class of 2012, Jordan was unbeaten in Ironman competition, winning in all three of his appearances. That run included five pins, a technical fall and five major decisions for the four-time state champion, now at Ohio State.
