Iowa Announces 2019-20 Schedule

IOWA CITY, Iowa – The 2019-20 schedule released Wednesday by the University of Iowa wrestling program includes home duals against five schools that finished in the top 10 at the 2019 NCAA Championships.

Minnesota, Nebraska, Ohio State, Oklahoma State, and Penn State all visit Carver-Hawkeye Arena this season. Ohio State (Jan. 24) and Penn State (Jan. 31), the top two teams at the NCAA Championships last year, visit Iowa City on consecutive Friday nights in January.

The Hawkeyes host Oklahoma State on Sunday, Feb. 23, one day after the finals of the Iowa high school state wrestling tournament.

Nebraska (Jan. 18) and Minnesota (Feb. 15) occupy Saturday night slots on the Hawkeyes' schedule.

The complete home schedule includes seven dates. Iowa opens the dual season hosting Tennessee-Chattanooga on Nov. 17. Wisconsin visits Carver-Hawkeye Arena on Dec. 1.
