2019 State Series

Starts this week! Last couple years Big East had 20 qualifiers and 7(2017) & 5(2018) State place winners. What you think for this year? I'll say 21 qualifiers and maybe 7 place winners again.

Congratulations to Random Lake on making the Team State tournament again! How many years in a row has it been now? Has to be 6 or 7. This conference has had a great run at making the tournament, hopefully we can raise a trophy!

Good luck to all the conference wrestlers on Saturday as well. I know the Big East will be well represented in Madison.

If the over/under for State qualifiers was set at 18, I think I'd take the over.

It seems like a good year for state medalists too, which is sometimes tough to come by coming out of the D2 and D3 sectionals that we do.
