I think he projects as a 133 entering college.  Who knows if he will eventually grow into a 141 after a few years.

I projected to 184 in college but quickly passed up 197 and went right to HWT.  ;D
thats the bottom line
On Wisconsin!

Sounds like a great recruit!  Congrats to him, and Bono and staff!

2019-2020 roster:
125: Brown-jr, Barnett-redshift, Rotondo-rsso
133: Burwick- fr, Cullen-sr, Dentino-rsfr
141: Moran-sr, Scharenbrock-rsfr, Schoenherr-rsfr
149: Martin-sr, Model-so, Spray-so
157: Wick-jr, Bahr-so, Otto-redshirt, Lantz- so
165: Wick-jr, Dow-rsfr
174: Covaciu-jr, Dow-rsfr
184: Krattiger-rsfr, Wetter-jr
197: Reinhardt-sr, Christensen-redshirt, Salemme-rsfr
Hwt: Hillger-so, Stone-sr

Pretty balanced roster with no visible holes at this point. I could see Burwick not redshirting and filling in at 133 right away, unless Cullen is ready for the big 10 level.

I wonder if the following year 125/133/141 will be filled with Brown, Barnett, and Burwick to get all 3 in the lineup.  2 would have to fill out, but they would have a few years to do so. Let's hope their ideal weights all end up not being the same, similar what happened a few years ago with Graff and Thielke.

Nash Hutmacher is at the Badger football game tonight for his recruiting visit. He would literally be a HUGE recruit. He would sit behind Hilger for a bit but great depth.

Bono just tweeted " it is ANOTHER great day to be a Badger!"   ;D  Love it!

wrastle63

AWESOME! Could it possibly be Hutmacher?

Sounds like LOTS of big time recruits at the Badger game on Saturday so possibly someone else!
Would LOVE to have Hutmacher join but I think with his decision between Football and Wrestling, he will wait a bit!

I was 167, but made the move up. Just made sense. ;D
If I agreed with you we'd both be wrong.

I heard a rumor that Jason Nolf is in the Badger room.   But, the only reason I heard the rumor is because I started it and said to to myself while I was aerating my yard over the weekend.

I was 167 once. Was a very difficult labor and delivery for my mom. ;D ;D ;D

Very big get! He actually beat Barnett last year. He should fit in very well at 133/141.  He also beat Hunter Lewis 10-0 in folkstyle last year.

Barnett, Burwick, Otto, and Christensen is as good of recruiting class as I can remember us getting since the Mccaulley/Thielke class.

Except DM never wrestled here.

roughandtough

Could it have just "been a great day to be a badger" because practice started?

Ubi sunt? DM is at UN-K. Decent wrestling school, though.
