Looks like summer camps will happen.  Maybe 2018 camps will stay out west?

Love his quote on the website...
.
"To be a champion, it begins with heart. You must be willing to do anything in your power to win. The body is easy to train; it's your mind that's the most difficult. Before facing your opponent, you must believe without a doubt that you deserve to win. Once you put in the work, let your mind do the rest. Remember, the mind gets tired before the body so train your mind harder than your body."

Looking at his camps where have the Badger camps been in the past? He seems to run a lot which will help develop WI talent.

If I agreed with you we'd both be wrong.

update at chrisbono.com

"With Coach Bono's exciting transition to the Wisconsin Wrestling program, all previous SDSU wrestling camps scheduled for June 2018 have been canceled. The only camp on Coach's schedule at this time is the Florida Intensive Camp in Jacksonville. Registration is now open!"

Hopefully that means Bonofide Camps are coming to Wisconsin this summer!

I wonder what the agreement UW has on camps with Coach Bono?

When the Badgers transitioned from Kleven to Hellickson to Rein and Davis the summer camps did not get cancelled that following summer.

Are we going to have Badger Camps or Bonofide camps only ? (or a combination of both?)

We have not had any recently, but it would great to have Badger camps again...

FYI, Ben Askren said on the T-Row and Funky podcast (the start of the NCAA's recap Part II)  that he has Bono and Reader coming to one of his camps this summer.  Great news!

I heard that as well.  Askren was all class when discussing the UW hire.  Basically said he was disappointed he didn't get the job but that Bono was a great choice.

Agreed hope Askren goes in on the program, because a lot of the in state talent we want at UW goes to his academy. Hopefully he pushes more kids for UW.
