Hope Gutekunst selects a difference maker with speed , toughness and attitude in the 1st Rd! I would love to see them take Raquan Smith from Georgia.  Hope we don't draft a tweener .... drafting a safety and try to make him a CB. Or taking a 4-3 DE and make him a 3-4 OLB.. With all the comp picks they could trade up.
Then we can go Edge, TE, OL. Sign a vet CB in FA and a pass rusher..

I don't think think they will draft for position in the 1st round. they will take whoever they think can be a difference maker. Too costly to trade up in the 1st rd. from where they are.

I think Smith will be gone before 14. a lot of mocks have Pack taking Landry. I know that does not mean anything. Edge is a Position of need. We sure have used a lot of picks on the D lately..

Starting to get concerned about the CB situation... please don't tell me that the converted WR Herb Waters is the answer at CB.. 1999 we drafted 3 CB in the first three rounds..  as despoarte as it seems at CB they need to draft a difference maker at 14..
These guys may be there at 14.. Don't play CB but they are playmakers
