Nice!

Glad to hear you had a blast with the fam!

Yosemite for the first time this year for me as well as Lake Tahoe, both very beautiful and taxing hikes. Many of Yosemites toughest hikes were closed because there was still too much snow. They were hoping to have it open by the 4th of July....it is still closed. The good news is that there were falls coming from places there haven't been falls. On the way into Tahoe, there was 2' of snow from 7000' and up to nearly 9000', that was pretty crazy and it was 70 degrees.

Good to see BigG post!

Howavi! I have yet to go to Yosemite bc the only time I can get down there is the peak season. Dying to get there. It'd complete my loop. In CA, I've done: Sequoia/King's Canyon, Redwoods, Joshua Tree and Death Valley (no need to go back.) Even parks I used to hit regularly are now just bursting. Zion was chill every time I've been there. Now, it's too much.

Glad you saw some awesome nature, bud. Renews a man. Hope you been good, old timer. The more you go to Cali, the more you realize "great stuff, weird state."
If I agreed with you we'd both be wrong.

Went to the Brown County Fair, saw the Glam Band, a rodeo and some beef cows. Went to Askeaton for some ball games, went to Brillion and saw some lawn mowers built at the Ariens company. Not sure these count, but still pretty cool. ;D  ;D  ;D

'Course that counts. I love county fairs. Walworth CF in Elkhorn is my favorite. They really put some sweat into that thing. Great time. I used to be a Simplicity guy, when it came to mowers; but I've expanded my horizons.

BigG........awesome to hear from you!

Simplicity is a good brand for sure. Aliens does well also. No issues with either.

Washington County Minnesota has a huge fair also! Is you even up in my area the beginning of August. One of the biggest county fairs around!

Take care and dominate some fair food!

Wash County is right across the river, right? I didn't know they put on such a big shindig. Gonna have to take the wife next year. If I ever retire, I'd like to hit every dairy breakfast in WI. Then, I'll have to expand to MN. IL, sorry. Some things I just won't do. JK, farm folks are always nice. 'Everybody, knooows everybody....everybody caaaallls you 'friend'."

Right across from Hudson on I94 and then 3 miles north on Manning or the 2nd exit into Minnesota going west.

Let me know and I could gladly offer a cool refreshing beverage on your way to or from that shin dig!

Heck make it a couple of days and I could show you a few good old fashion breakfasts in my area but you have to save room for a few corn dogs and such!

Just got back from Oregon and Northern California.

Crater Lake was absolutely beautiful. Hiked around Lake Tahoe as well, but with all the recent fires there, it  looks a bit like a moonscape.

I've heard Crater lake it special. I see all the crap in Portland and all; but one of my best friends goes out there regularly and says, outside the cities, it's amazing. Envious on the Crater Lake thing, though.

I want to get back to Utah for some more challenging hikes before my body decides it can't.

I flew into Eugene, so I have no clue what Portland is like.

It's worth going to. Not much of a hike, really

Also went to Tahoe. Looks like a
