According to Jackson's Instagram account he has left UW.  Does anybody know why?

Maybe he felt that the depth at his weight would have been prohibitive.

Hopes he finds a happy new home and flourishes.

Seems like he was well behind Christensen and Covaciu based on the results. Hopefully he finds a school that works for him!

short blurb in today's WI State Journal states he's transferred to Fresno State.

Multiple things went into it I believe. If you look at results he had no clear way to ever make the starting lineup without big improvements. 15-0 against Christensen and Christensen beat Covaciu by 1 or 2.

Plus Krattiger joins Badgers next year.  I see nothing but huge upside with him. Big logjam at the upper weights.

I would say there is a pretty big difference between a typical big 10 team and Fresno State.
