The coaches ranking is only part of it. They must meet 2 of the following 3 criteria: D1 win percentage in weight class of 70%, top 33 RPI ranking, and top 33 coaches ranking. To be eligible for an RPI ranking, a wrestler must have a minimum of 17 DI matches.

According to the Twitters, @badgerwrestling says that all 10 guys are ranked in the NCAA wrestling coaches panel poll.

The good thing about being in the B1G is that the RPI's are usually very favorable for us because of our level of competition. Taking losses to some of the tops guys in the B1G hurts the win %, but it doesn't hurt the RPI. Given our strength of schedule with the B1G duals we have, I would guess that if the guys are ranked in the coaches poll top 33, they will be in the RPI as well.
