This was a great event ran along with the college national duals.  Many of us got to see some great college wresting and see many Wisconsin college wrestlers compete.  Both Parkside and Whitewater was there.

Team Wisconsin Red competes at Nuway Mat mayhem national duals.
Wisconsin red Elementary team finished in 13 place.out of 21 teams.  There is no seeding at this tournament so your first pool is the luck of the draw and we got the 4th and 7th place teams in ours.  I feel we could  have place higher with a different draw.   They wrestled very well.  Watching some of these young men who have never wrestled on the national level before learn to compete with others on the national level is just awesome. What a great experience.

Wisconsin Red Middle School team
Wisconsin Red middle school team finished 10th out of 16th.  With drawing the top 2 teams in the tourney it was impossible for us to finish higher than 9th.  Even wit us giving up 1 forfeit each dual I believe this was a top 6 team at this tourney. Again these young men are learning to compete on the national level and the amount of improvement from these guys is great.

It's very strenuous!
