Nice to be a winner..here is some news for you..the 4 wrestlers you mentioned in your post are not wrestling this season for Menomonie and that's all I'm going to say about that. If they were, Wildhorse would have mentioned them as Returning Studs along with our other ones. Menomonie will have a tough year just in duel meets. I'm anxious to see what the new coach brings to the mat...we may see some different things this season. As far as Sandbagging or lying in the weeds....I don't see any of that in Wildhorses post

I love the BRC!  The wrestlers and the fans always show passion.  Hudson should be solid thru and thru, EC North will be good too. Sad to hear the possiblity of a few wrestlers in Menomonie not being around. Hopefully some come back.

Asked Jake last night at our football banquet and he wasn't sure yet. 

Rice Lake has some strong returning upper classman (Brohde Aspseter JR 120, Cole Paulson SR 138, Chase Schmidt JR 145, Jake Bugella JR 220, Brandon Peterson SO 182) with 4 or 5 good freshman coming in (Marquez Clerveaux, Malichi Hill, Carter Waite, Callub Paulson).  If they could get all the kids that quit from the past few years they would be very competitive.  It is really too bad since they had a great nucleus as little as 2 years ago.  Luke Schroeder, Dylan Roberts, Austin Piecuch, Luke Fleming, Logan Hile, etc. all stopped wrestling.  Many of those young men went to youth state and Luke Schroeder went to State in high school.

My son wrestled three of those kids. Aspseter, Paulson, and Schroeder. All three are very respectable! They will be a strong team if Jake wrestles and everyone stays healthy. Lots of injuries and illnesses really hurt them last year I remember!

Thanks. A lot of falls in that meet - suggests a fair amount of inequity. Are Menomonie's cupboards that bare that quickly or is RF just that tough?

Menomonie was missing 5 significant wrestlers that I can think of for whatever reason I don't know.  Take nothing away from RF they are tough .I think they are top 2 or 3 in BRC.
