after hearing what happened at the Little Ten tournament i have to say that watching the Johnson Creek and Dodgeland wrestlers playing dodge ball and then starting the all time best sharks and minnows game and getting almost all of the teams involved was pretty cool.
congrats to all wrestlers from the champs down to the last place finishers your integrity and comeradery  between the teams was refreshing to watch!!!

Well said Tess...

Great tournament this year.  It is awesome to see so many teams in the mix compared to year's past.  The conference is definitely deeper than it has been in the last several years as well.

Congratulations to Markesan on winning the title and all 14 individual champions.  But also congratulations to every wrestler, too often we focus on who wins the bracket or takes second, but sometimes it is about a kid just getting better.  We had two kids get their first varsity wins this weekend and it was great to see the smiles on their faces after their wins.  Those two matches were their conference championships.  Who knows, maybe they take 3rd or get into the finals next year.  The points for 3rd-6th add up.

Good luck to everyone at regionals this weekend.  Now the fun part of the year begins.  It is possible that the conference has three team champions come out of regionals.  Horicon could make it out, Deerfield/JC could make it out, and Markesan could make it out.

Last but not least, let's hope for a speedy recovery for Ivan Hebbe, it would be great to see him make the journey to state again this year, but make sure he is healthy first.  Concussions are nothing to rush back from.

One more thing...that was really cool seeing every Markesan wrestler cheer on their teammates and meet them at the edge of the mat, regardless of the result.  Kudos to Coach Thom, his staff, and wrestlers...
