Oak Creek edged Burlington, 458-454, to win the Highlander Invitational on Friday at Homestead. Senior Ben Hakes, the 170-pound champion, was the Knights' only weight class winner, but they did place among the top three in eight of the 14 weight classes. The runners-up were sophomore Matt Berlin (113), junior Isaiah Robinson (120), senior Elijah Paez (182) and junior Ross Agg (195), while sophomore Mitch Landgraf (106), junior Andrew McIntosh (126) and senior Nate Mlodzik (152) finished third in their weight classes....Other highlights from the meet included Racine Horlick senior Damien McCray, who won the 113-pound title ahead of state-ranked competitors Berlin, who is ranked ninth in the weight class by wiwrestling.com, and No. 12 Eric Wunsch of Menomonee Falls. McCray beat Berlin, 3-2, in the final. Also unranked Horlick senior Ricardo Garcia beat 11th-ranked Linzy Hudson of Milwaukee King in the 160-pound final.

Oak Creek and Case didn't wrestle. Too many skin issues for Case.
