wondering who may have hit the tree sun night before the winter storm hit...about to rain with a little snow down here in an few hr, so I'm heading out to sit in a few mins, the deer have really been running the last week with the rut in full swing and with a incoming storm, things should be good this morning...

Bow hunters delight. People are bringing in trophies around here.

I tagged my archery buck last sunday. It was crazy out there. Rattled 5 times that morning and 4 of them bucks came in. I had 5 different bucks within 70 yards of my stand at one point. All 2.5 y.o. or older. That's fun stuff!

both the guy i hunt with have taken real nice bucks already, both are typical s around 135...I'm waiting for the real big guy...

filled my tag with a nice eating 6- point aged at 3 Years old.

Now to rifle but I will miss the opener for the first time in 30 some years watching my son wrestle is far more important. Plus I have doe tag that I will fill this week best eating on themp,a net earth 1.25" think steaks marinaded and hit with high heat on both sides for a nice medium rare finish yum yum.
