CEDARBURG H.S. ASSISTANT COACH / MIDDLE SCHOOL ASSISTANT COACH (2 positions)

Cedarburg High School & Webster Middle School are seeking assistant coaches to add on to their current staff for this coming season.

The high school assistant will be in charge of the JV, as well as, assist with the varsity. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited too:

*Being able to teach fundamental wrestling skills
*Being able to run a wrestling practice
*Reliable individual that is compassionate about the sport
*Traveling to JV tournaments
*Well-mannered individual who can speak with parents
*Academically focused individual that will help promote the idea of STUDENT-athlete to all wrestlers in program

Last season, Cedarburg H.S. had the best season in school history by notching a 16-0 dual meet record, winning the North Shore Conference Title for the first time in 30+ years, having 11 sectional qualifiers, and 8 state qualifiers with 2 placing 5th. We will be returning 6 state qualifiers, and one state placer this season, as well as bringing in a nucleus of 15 8th graders with wrestling experience.

The middle school assistant will be working with the Middle school head coach Jeff Corner to help build a nice foundation as the middle schoolers learn the fundamentals of wrestling and what it takes to be a student-athlete. The middle school assistant CAN also help out with the high school team when time permits. Webster Middle School wrestling schedule is as follows:

Mon-Tues-Thur-Fri 3p-4:30p Practice
Duals against neighboring towns
Season runs from 11/17-End of January
