Fans encouraged to vote for three wrestlers in NCAA.com Elite 89 Fan Vote

Three wrestlers are in the voting pool for an NCAA.com sponsored fan vote involving winners of the prestigious Elite 89 award Honoring Achievement On And Off The Field.

The Elite 89 award is presented to one representative in each of the NCAA's 89 championship sports across all three divisions. The award goes to the student-athlete with the highest GPA at the finals site for each championship. Fans can vote once per day per e-mail address and the voting end on July 13 at 5 p.m. Eastern. The field will then be narrowed down to 30 semifinalists and another vote will commence.

Wrestling honorees
Division I: Tristan Warner, Jr., Old Dominion – 3.979 – Communications & Criminal Justice
Division II: Corbin Bennetts, Soph. Western State Colorado – 3.945 – Biology
Division III: Cody Lovejoy, Junior, Ohio Northern – 3.988 – Pharmacy
