Ozaukee High School is seeking applicants for the position of Head Varsity Wrestling Coach for the 2014-2015 school year.  Candidates will be responsible for providing leadership and instruction in the academic, personal, and athletic development of student athletes.
The Head Varsity Wrestling Coach is responsible for developing and implementing all facets of the wrestling program including, but not limited to the following:
·         Coordinating all aspects of the high school program and work collaboratively with the Ozaukee Wrestling Club to coordinate middle school and elementary school efforts.
·         Instructing and demonstrating proper wrestling rules and techniques.
·         Developing and organizing practice schedules and structures.
·         Assisting in maintaining all wrestling equipment, such as mats, uniforms, head gear etc.
·         Working with the athletic director and/or booster clubs to acquire all needed equipment and/or upgrades.
·         Coordinating duties and responsibilities of assistant coaches throughout the entire program and assessing the effectiveness of assistant coaches.
·         Developing and administering an off-season conditioning and recruitment program.
·         Assisting the Athletic Director in scheduling, development and administration of budget, and making travel arrangements.
·         Maintaining professional growth of all coaches, including the head coach.
·         Participating in all required meetings/events.
·         Performing other tasks and assuming other responsibilities as assigned.
