Now that the regional smoke has started to clear. Pick your state champs.

MARSHDOC

110 Schoenfuss from Straford
115 is stacked.  Nutter, DeMeyer (Rhinelenader), Martin (Straford), Stuhl (Prescot)  I can't rule any of these guys out.
120 Skateebo (south milwaukee), Kochiu (Wausau)
125 Schlough (Boyceville), Vincenzo Digenero (Janesveille)  I give edge to Schlough
other more obvious picks... Hayden Krein, Frank Garcia, The 105 pound kid from Stratford.  Westphall Athens.  These are just kids I know and do not mean to disrespect the other great wrestlers in the state that will win their division or place high.

95 lbs is loaded - Logan Walker pinned his way through regionals. Wrestled a total of 1:29. Drew Scharenbrock and Cody Suddeth out of the Middleton Regional will make a run. Mason Phillips out of the River Falls regional will be tough. Add in Corbin Trotzer and Tyler Olson from the Wisconsin Rapids regional you are looking at some of the top kids in the state. I say Walker and Phillips in the finals but I think Trotzer could get through as a "dark horse"

One that will be missed from this line-up. Mace Kilty from Stratford. I think Mace could have made a great run at either 90 or 95 pound bracket this year but (as I understand it) the WWF does not allow female athletes to choose to wrestle in the "boys" division for the state title. Too bad...Mace is a great competitor and would compete with the other athletes at the state level. Maybe the WWF will change this stance in the future...

Totally agree and I complained to people of the WWF about it, but they didn't change anything except saying this is better for the sport.....yeah I see lots of numbers in the WWF girls groups after a couple years.  Just not working out, wish they would leave them pick.

She gets her "State Tournament" this weekend at Dominate in the Dells.  GOOD LUCK MACEY!!  Back up that Liberty Nationals Championship with another!!

Okay, probably REALLY dumb question, but I can't find it...60 or 90 second periods for these guys?

ONE MINUTE PERIODS.  I wish they were at least 90 seconds, too easy to stall out a win with just a 60 second period.

So they changed the oldest group back to 1 minute periods?
