I have a feeling this would not be a record.  I'd guess a Big Ten tny at Carver Hawkeye Arena may have had more.  Tried to find history of attendance and was unsuccessful.

Amazing to think that Iowa can typically pull in crowds for a dual meets at Carver that closely equate to what was there for any of the sessions.

Yeah, I hear that all the time, but there isn't a wrestling fan in WI that wouldn't love to have their legacy and support.

The WIAA State individual tournament has had up to 68,000 for 2 1/2 days. This year we were just under 58,000 in The Kohl Center. I only state this because we have one of the highest attended State Wrestling Tournaments in the Nation. The UW did very well this year for Big Tens.
